Back from vacation! Posting resumes as normal - aiming to have a bigger illustration out this weekend. Here are some drawings I worked on during my break:

Taking the next week off from the internet, artwork and real life work. Been essentially doing digital art as a part time job in addition to my regular one and am feeling extremely burned out. I plan to use this time to do a full detox from the internet as well, as I am really quite sick of staring at glowing rectangles for hours on end. Will be spending time with family and working on traditional art projects - I will upload these when I return.

I am very happy for the support of everyone on here, and I do really enjoy reading your comments, they make me happy.

Bit of an update post this week

Lots of things have been happening lately (Mostly fun and positive in my personal life) and as a result this weeks drawing will be a little late. I have some fun sketches to tide you over until then.

I attended my first concert! I got to see The Birthday Massacre live! It was really fun, a lot of cool people there and the band was excellent live. Pictured: Me at the concert

Just a heads up someone on bluesky is impersonating me and trying to scam people for commissions. I do not take commissions at this time, and will post on newgrounds first when I do.

No big drawing this week, I've been feeling extremely depressed and burned out with both drawing and work. (The past couple drawings taking 25+ hours each may have contributed to this.)

I've still been quite busy this week, however. Here's a few fun sketches I've done.

024 Recap

General:

Felt very similar to 2023, but with a worse general state of the world both online and offline. I have personally been off the internet as much as possible to preserve my health. Other than that I have been doing quite well, with many parts of my life staying the same or improving. I have been very happy with my creative output this year, and have been trying my best and really pushing myself to draw a variety of different things and improve my fundamentals.

Health:

Still doing cardio every day - weight remains low

I attended two goth events this year - social anxiety is getting better!

Still addiction free

Looking Forward:

I want to increase the variety of horror content I produce, with more original pieces and bonus sketches added to the usual mix of fan art.

I want to work on composition and general focus of pieces, as well as ironing out more of the jank that comes from being a self taught artist that only started learning fundamentals recently.

I also do want to try my hand at making some comics and uploading more traditional pieces - particularly with ink.

More bonus content in the form of goth and horror cosplay, miniatures, and general crafts - this will not be added to portal, but will be in the occasional news post.

My Personal site may be receiving an update later in the year...

And I wish to get outside more and experience the world. After all, without social media, I have a lot of time.

Upload days are Saturdays and Wednesdays, depending on how long a project takes.
