024 Recap

General:

Felt very similar to 2023, but with a worse general state of the world both online and offline. I have personally been off the internet as much as possible to preserve my health. Other than that I have been doing quite well, with many parts of my life staying the same or improving. I have been very happy with my creative output this year, and have been trying my best and really pushing myself to draw a variety of different things and improve my fundamentals.

Health:

Still doing cardio every day - weight remains low

I attended two goth events this year - social anxiety is getting better!

Still addiction free

Still working the same job

Maintaining connection with friends and family

Media:

18 video games completed for the first time, including:

Silent Hill 3 and the SH2 Remake

Umineko

Resident Evil 1 Remake, RE4 Remake, RE5

16 novels read, including:

Les Miserables

The Count of Monte Cristo

The Black Company

A ridiculous amount of horror movies were watched.

Looking Forward:

I want to increase the variety of horror content I produce, with more original pieces and bonus sketches added to the usual mix of fan art.

I want to work on composition and general focus of pieces, as well as ironing out more of the jank that comes from being a self taught artist that only started learning fundamentals recently.

I also do want to try my hand at making some comics and uploading more traditional pieces - particularly with ink.

More bonus content in the form of goth and horror cosplay, miniatures, and general crafts - this will not be added to portal, but will be in the occasional news post.

My Personal site may be receiving an update later in the year...

And I wish to get outside more and experience the world. After all, without social media, I have a lot of time.

Upload days are Saturdays and Wednesdays, depending on how long a project takes.
