This is amazing, dude! The lighting looks great, though I would work on perspective. I adore the gravestones and the docks with the guillotine!

DevilRat responds:

I suck at working with greys that are for rocks, as I am happy with the first two, the rest of it however bugs me. That is what really fucked up my perspective, outside of was starting to get dependent on Krita's built in tools for perspective. CSP's are primitive in this area.

God damn it, Billy.

thank you! have you read the rest of the book? you can find it here on my profile page

Always nice seeing Asuka. I love the variant color backgrounds, though I think the rendering on Asuka needs a bit of work to really make the pose look a little less awkward.

MurasakiNoodle responds:

Thank You, I understand, the arms do definitely seem a little bit awkwardly posed.

He looks like a friendly fellow! I love the background and general texture of the entire piece, really makes him look alive. You sir are a master of your craft!

ooki responds:

Hey!, many thanks!.

Leaked image of me past 8 PM.

Really like the rendering and genuine grotesqueness of this.

TristanTait responds:

Hahaha
And thanks! It was started and finished in the same stream, so I wanted to keep it nice and loose and painterly looking so I could get it done in time. I think the roughness adds to the grossness a bit, so it all worked out haha

An axe fit for a warrior!

This is insanely creepy, in the good way. The background is top tier, but the little goblin man feels a little too robotic looking with his texture. There are also a lot of anatomical mistakes, though I think those are intentional to give the dude a creepy and uncanny vibe.

I really wouldn't want to run into this guy in my house!

shrimpyscallionz responds:

thanks man, yeah the anatomical errors are on purpose. the oversized areas, i think, give the impression of growths all over his body, like tumours. i think it's an interesting effect. thanks for the compliment about the background, this is my first piece with a really developed environment. thanks for your critique
